Dr. Troy Nash grew up in Section 8 housing. After serving in the U.S. Air Force, he converted his mother's living room into a classroom, tutored his three older brothers, and helped them enroll in college. His mother earned her GED at 55 and was posthumously awarded a Bachelor's degree by UMKC.
Today, The Nash Group exists to break cycles of poverty through housing—because we understand that where you live shapes who you become. We bring public sector experience, private sector expertise, and lived experience together to develop housing that truly transforms communities.
